Our Mission
 
CFRM’s mission is to present the Gospel to the racing community, both locally and nationally, in a non-denominational fashion. This can be done most effectively by establishing personal relationships with those in the racing community (drivers and their families, crew members, promoters, and track officials) that reflect the glory and grace of our Lord.
 
 
Our History
 
Our genealogy began in 1999 as track chaplains at Kokomo Speedway and Gas City I-69 Speedway. In 2000, we became chaplains with American Racing Ministries and USAC.
 
Over the years we have been contacted by other sanctioning bodies about being chaplains with them. In March of 2006, Checkered Flag Racing Ministries was organized to carry the Gospel to other racing organizations and local tracks.
 
Checkered Flag Racing Ministries operates as a registered 501c3, Christian Non-profit organization based in Kokomo, Indiana. All financial matters for the Ministry are handled by Bethany Taylor, Community Tax Service, and are available for review.

Purpose of Checkered Flag Racing Ministries
 
 
 
The overall purpose of Checkered Flag Racing Ministries is to glorify God.  The area in which we are called to serve Him is in grass roots racing. We are to minister to the spiritual needs of the racing community. This includes drivers and families, crew members, promoters, officials, fans, and track workers. Our ministry strives to bring a balanced perspective to the whole person. 
 
 
Checkered Flag Racing Ministries is a non-denominational organization called by God to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the mobile community of Motorsports. Checkered Flag Racing Ministries provides the same services as the local church and Pastor. That being weddings, baby dedications, family or individual counseling, hospital visits, Bible studies, funerals, Chapel services, and much more.
 
 
Those involved in auto racing are a community unto themselves, with special needs as any other community. Our desire is to minister the Gospel to this community in such a way as to strengthen the individuals in it. In doing so, we will strengthen the families. As we strengthen the families we strengthen the teams as well. We know that good relationships help produce more effective families, teams and communities.
 
 
Checkered Flag Racing Ministries is a non-profit, tax-deductible corporation that is supported entirely by gifts and donations.
