Non-Wing Class Rules
1)  AGE

Drivers age 14 and up may compete in the Open Class.  You may
compete at age 12 if  you have competed for 2 prior years in the
Restricter Class.  A copy of birth certificate or state issued photo ID
must be provided for any driver under the age of 18.

2)  SHOCKS

Any shock absorber legal

3)  TIRES and WHEELS

Any wheel size and tire combination may be used, but tires may not
exceed 22 1/2 inches in height.  Wheels must be held on with 4 or
more standard lug nuts or knock-off hubs.  

4)  SUNSHIELD & BODY PANELS

Front side panels must be flat and can not extend above the top of
the downtube. They also may not extend above the highest point of
the hood or obstruct the drivers view.

Lower sidepanels may run turn outs not to exceed 1 inch from bend.

Rear Sailpanels may run a turn out not to exceed 2.5 inches from the
bend and the bend can be no farther back than the rear of the rear
cage down tube. The rear down tube can not be exaggerated to gain
sailpanel area.

Front sunshield not to exceed 6 inches.  No whicker bills.
  No
sunshades on either side to extend from the top of the roll bar
downward.  


5)  STAGING AREA

Once a car enters the staging area it is considered race ready.  No
legality changes may be made.  If a car is not legal once it reaches
the staging area it will be disqualified for that specific event.

6)  SELF STARTING

All cars must be self starting.  Any car requiring a push vehicle from
the staging area will start at the tail of that race.

7)  NUMBERS

Cars must have car number on nose.  This number must be easily
read from the scoring tower.  
Remember:  The easier your
numbers are to read, the easier they are to score!

8)  ENGINE RULES

Any multi-cylinder 4 cycle engine (normally  aspirated) not
exceeding 640cc.  Must have cockpit operated electric starter, lever
manual clutch in car must be functional.  Must have on-board
battery capable of starting a 640cc engine.  Must also remain
chain-driven off of the original countershaft.   Any other
modifications allowed.
