Wing Class Rules
1)  AGE

Drivers age 14 and up may compete in the Open Class.  You may
compete at age 12 if  you have competed for 2 prior years in the
Restricter Class.  A copy of birth certificate or state issued photo
ID must be provided for any driver under the age of 18.

2)  SHOCKS

Any shock absorber legal

3)  TIRES and WHEELS

Any wheel size and tire combination may be used, but tires may not
exceed 22 1/2 inches in height.  Wheels must be held on with 4 or
more standard lug nuts or knock-off hubs.  Right rear tire must be
plated NMMA, ASCS2 or MD-57, a minimum 50 durometer compound
Hoosier or American Racer tire.  Tire may be be siped or grooved.   
Tire durometer check should be done at least 15 minutes
after the races to allow for cool down.   Tire is subject to verification
at any point during the race event.

4)  WINGS

Wings are mandatory.   It is recommended for top wings to be pinned
for easy removal in case of driver injury.  Cars may run any size top
wing.  No part of the wing (including but not limited to the center
section, sideboards, or bracing) may extend outside the tires or
beyond the bumpers as driven.   Nose Wings are optional but must
be installed so as not to obstruct the driver’s vision.  The nose
wing must carry the same car number as the body nose.  

5)  STAGING AREA

Once a car enters the staging area it is considered race ready.  No
legality changes may be made.  If a car is not legal once it reaches
the staging area it will be disqualified for that specific event.

6)  SELF STARTING

All cars must be self starting.  Any car requiring a push vehicle from
the staging area will start at the tail of that race.

7)  ENGINE RULES

Any multi-cylinder 4 cycle engine (normally aspirated) not exceeding
640cc.  Must have cockpit operated electric starter, lever manual
clutch in car must be functional.  Must have on-board battery
capable of starting a 640cc engine.  Must also remain chain-driven
off of the original countershaft.   Any other modifications allowed.
